7 Months!

Colby at 7 months was the CUTEST!  Her big milestone of the month was eating solid foods!  She was OBSESSED and would get extremely upset if someone was eating something and not giving her any!  She would literally eat anything and everything.  She loved to be on the floor playing, but mostly if I was holding her in my lap.  She's always been a mama's girl!  She loves chasing me around the house (Billy holding her obviously), it makes her squeal.  She babbles all day long and can roll around like crazy even though she doesn't very often except in her bed. 

She was in a bed that was much too small for her but we were waiting to put her in a crib until we moved into our house.  She still wouldn't fall asleep in the car and HATED being in her car seat.  One of her favorite things to do was to sit in the bumbo on the counter while I did my makeup, she LOVED playing with all the bottles and stuff up there and everything in my makeup bag.  She loved sitting in the bumbo on the counter while I made food/cookies.  Still couldn't sit unsupported.  But we were practicing daily!  I already posted most of the photos I had in the other November posts, but here are a few more.  We sure love this cutie pie.

She figured out how to gum/chew foods pretty quickly.  She loooved it!

Thanksgiving 2017

Thanksgiving was so fun with Jenny and Jason and family in town!  It was a long time ago now (oops) so I'll try to remember the best I can!  We tried to do as much as we could with everyone, but Colby had such a strict schedule that I wasn't really willing to deviate from that we missed a lot of the fun.  But at least Colby was rested, ha!

Carter looooved holding Colby!  He kept wanting to hold her over and over.  When she grabbed his nose Carter said "I think she wants my nose for her meat" hahaha it was the cutest thing ever.  I couldn't narrow down the pics.

We had the best day Thanksgiving day!  I made some rolls and jello salad, Billy was the turkey carving man.

Thanksgiving dinner!  This was the first day that Colby was really into solid foods!  I tried a pouch earlier in the day that she guzzled down (woo!) and then she sat on my lap and ate EVERYTHING I gave her from my plate!  It was the cutest thing ever!

San Diego November 2017

A few months before November, Cami texted me and said she, Travis and baby Peter were heading to San Diego for her half marathon in November and I should come down to join them.  So I said heck yes I should!  And I bought a plane ticket.  I spent a week down there and had a blast with cousins and just hanging out at home, the beach and the park.  Colby did really well adjusting to the new environment and she LOVED having my parent's dog, Ruger, around.  Thanks Mom, Travis and Cami for the awesome week!

I was going to do BLW (Baby Led Weaning), so we started in November.  She didn't really get it, so we did a variation of BLW called eat whatever is on Mom's fork...haha.  She started eating SUPER well after Thanksgiving.  But anyways, here are some messy eating photos!

Went to lunch with Travis and Cami one day and then checked out a little Japanese market nearby!

 One day Mom watched Colby for me to get my hair CHOPPED!  I cut like 12 inches off.  It felt good but was way too much money for the non coloring coloring that the girl gave me.  Still ticked about it.  And I still miss my hair like crazy!
