Monday June 2nd
Oh I forgot to mention that in Dubai Friday is their Sabbath, so we didn't go to church on Sunday. We didn't go to church on Friday either.........oops.
Anyways, so Monday was another more
chill day. We went to a different
beach at the Westin resort. It was again super nice. At this beach
there were so many beautiful seashells!! I collected a bunch. They
were those big twisty kind. There were also starfish in the water!!
We found about 7 total starfish underneath the sand. It was pretty
fun and exciting! After that me and Billy were walking up and down the
beach forever collecting shells. Then we realized my sunburn was so bad so
we went to chill in the shade. We ordered some lunch and drinks. We
dipped in the pool for a sec and this was the coldest pool I've been in here
yet. It was very refreshing! Then we ate lunch and lounged for a long
time in the shade. A guy brought around ice cold mister bottles for us to
cool ourselves off with...so fancy! We dipped in the pool a few more
times and then eventually headed out. We came home and got showered and
hung out a bit. Jody got a babysitter lined up for the evening. Tonight
the adults went out to do the Jumeriah Beach Walk and got some dinner. The walk was really fun, there were a bunch of shops and restaurants. We ate at a place called The Butcher Shop and Grill.
It was really good! It was fun to be out with Jody and Dieter.
We saw some awesome huge sand castles on the beach after dinner.
Super cool! After that we walked back to the car! So that was Monday! Pics--

Alrighty! Next is Tuesday June 3rd
So Tuesday we took it slow getting
started again and had some chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast YUM. Then we
headed out to the polo club for a fancy workout and some swimming. This club has a super nice gym and spa and everything.
I was super confused by the treadmill at first but then realized after a
bit thar it was in kilometers! Duh. So I ran 7 km. not sure how far
that is in miles. But it was good. I got so sweaty because it is so humid! Then I changed
clothes in the fancy locker room and met up with everyone else out by the
kiddie pool which is all shaded! So nice. We swam a bit, relaxed
and then went home. It was really nice.
Jody looked up movie times and saw
they were showing How to Train Your Dragon 2 at 1:45 so we sped to get ready
and head over there. The popcorn is super cheap and delicious here!
Unfortunately however Jody looked at the wrong date and she had bought
movie tickets for tomorrow! Ha! So we got a refund and didn't know
what to do with all this popcorn we had just bought. So I suggested
bowling which we did! It was way fun with the little girlies.
They were so into it and way excited. Except for when Maddison jumped and bashed Dieter's nose super hard and
then Ceci smashed her fingers almost simultaneously so there were lots of tears
haha it was actually pretty funny...we took a picture. Poor Jody :)
Then we walked around the mall a bit
and then came home. This was a different mall than the others, a more local and smaller mall. We watched a movie, had dinner, girls to bed, watched
another more adult movie and that was our last night! So sad!

And that is it! Our flight the next morning was at 9, so we got up super early to get there early. The flight back was better than the flight there, we were able to stand up and move around a bit more. We watched lots of movies and tried to get some rest. Good times!
