TAGGED!

I've been tagged!
As I've been stalking people's blogs lately i've been noticing people doing this whole "tagging" thing and asking/answering questions thing. Its been pretty fun for me to read on the certain people's blogs I stalk. So GREAT NEWS! I've been tagged! I felt so special when I saw my name on my cousin Jessica's blog :)

So here we go!...
1. If you were an animal, what would you be? Why?

Well, I would have to say a giraffe. Because it's my favorite animal. They are really tall and just funny looking, and it would be fun to see from a giraffe view. OR we just learned about these freaking AWESOME reptiles that used to live in the ocean a super long time ago that were MASSIVE! They could get up to 23 METERS long!
It's called an Icthyosaur. So that would be cool to be one of those too. No predators, just crusin through the water all day long. Until they became extinct...that wouldn't be fun to be extinct.

2. If you could only eat 2 things for the rest of your life, what would you eat?

Well, it depends if I could get sick/fat or not. But lets just assume I couldn't. Then I would have to say 1) blueberry muffin batter because I LOVE it and always say I could eat it all day long and 2) Billy says I always say that about Candy Corn too. Which is true, I do love it. But I think I'll say yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Because I could honestly eat that nonstop I think.

3. What's your dream profession?
This is a hard one. I think that I wish I was talented enough to be a professional athlete (probably sprinter) and go to the Olympics for my profession. And never get injured. And get a gold medal!
Oh man if only....... Oh well, teaching high schoolers about Biology is my 2nd choice! :)

4. If you could pick where you and your hubby would serve a mission, where would you want to go?
Korea. Because thats where Billy served. And I have heard so many stories and I really want to see what it's like! And be able to learn some of the language. It would be so great!

(Billy's on the right :) )

5. What disney character suits you best?
Well, according to Billy and the spotlight he filled out for me at church, I'm a white Pocahontas. Because I "look like her and am such a free spirit...and you jump off waterfalls". I'd have to agree.

There I am...just rowing my boat.
Well there it is!
Ok now my turn. I don't think very many people actually regularly read my blog, or even fairly regualrly, besides my mom. But, I already know everything about her haha. So, I think Garrett Harding reads our blog on occasion maybe?, and Hayley Pingree does too sometimes? Haha so those are my two picks! :)
1. If you could be a vegetable, which one would you be and why?
2. Would you rather be blind or deaf?
3. Who is going to be the first person you go talk to in the Spirit World?
4. Who was your favorite Elementary/Middle school teacher and why?
5. What's your favorite holiday?
That was really hard thinking of those questions. So sorry if they are lame :)

Rainy Monday

Here is a song that I felt was appropriate for this cold, gloomy, rainy monday. Just pretend like this music video is actually good and they aren't wearing make-up and all wearing black and looking freaky. I love this song!

So this past week, not too much exciting stuff happened except that my cousin Alex got his mission call on Wednesday!!! SO EXCITING! Here is the video Billy took of him opening it! (even though it was kind of anticlimatic because he had already opened it earlier that day...)

He is going to the Mexico Tuxala Gudhjhgljkhsfdk (?) mission. Haha I don't know what it is for sure, something Spanish. So fun! We are so excited for Alex!

On saturday we got invited over to the Keller's house up in Alpine for a game and movie night. It was way fun. We played pounce (which is probably my new fav game) and watched How to Train Your Dragon which is such a good movie! Billy hadn't seen it and he loved it. And of course it was awesome in their SWEET theatre room!
Thats a super blurry pic of us that got taken randomly at the Keller's. We had just come from Rubios...and Rubios is the only place we know of that has Vanilla Coke. So we always fill up our cup twice, thus the cup in billy's hand. YUM :)

On our way back from the Keller's, we were just chatting away waiting at a stop light on Center Street when all of a sudden a car hit us from behind! It was very suprising and scary! There was a little damage to both cars, so we called the police to get an accident report recorded, and everything worked out fine, but it just took over an hour to get all the paperwork done and everything. It definately is a bummer and a hassle, but fortunately it wasn't our fault and it should be all fixed in no time.

Poor car :(

Also, just in case you wanted an update, construction behind our house is going well. They are still waking us up at 6:30 AM and it's still as fun as ever. Not. Here are some pictures:

Notice the crane, the plethora of tractors, and ALSO the dark, heavy clouds looming over the town!

So that's whats happening as of late. Now its back to studying for me, I have a test I have to take tomorrow. Billy is in class right now, then has to meet with his professor, then has to go take a test, then come home and study for another test he has to take tomorrow! Busy busy Billy. Well thats all!

FALL

I love fall. A lot lot.

It's so beautiful!

So this is going to be a random post with random pictures. And I am excited about it.

It's been a busy week with a bunch of stuff that I can't remember...just a few pictures to piece it together:

Beautiful "fall colored" roses Billy got for me when I was having a bad day:

Billy playing angry birds as usual:

Halloween cookies I decorated when I went to visit Rachel and Camille! :

On Saturday Billy had this little horn of hair on his head that I thought was so cute. So I took a picture! This is in the bowling alley at BYU when we went bowling after work on Saturday:

Pumpkin pancake Billy made for me when we had pancakes on Saturday morning :) (It has a smile made of chocolate chips too. So cute!)

Here is one of the normal pancakes:

Also on Saturday night we went over to the Pingrees and carved pumpkins with the Pingrees (obvi) and Pierce's! It was way fun. Thanks to Hayley for the picture :)

If you can't tell what we carved...its a pumpkin ON a pumpkin! So clever, we know.

ALSO we have a mouse in our apartment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the worst. There are little poops everywhere and we hear little scurries every once in a while. This is Billy making his state-of-the-art mouse trap.

It wasn't successful... :(

A delicious meal we made on Sunday! Some chicken/salsa contraption:

It was superb.

and this is what this previous week did to me:

We played raquetball on Thursday and I was so tuckered out from a long day/week that my Geology homework was obviously not getting done.

Some other things of note that have happened recently:

-I took my Botany final today!!!!!!!! FIELD BOTANY IS OVER! Yay!

-I made lots of pumpkin treats this week. It was very fun and I love pumpkin things.

-My mom sent us an awesome package the other day with so many fun Halloween things! We are getting so excited for Halloween!

-We've almost finished our thank-you notes for our wedding finally! (We ran out of stamps though...)

-uh I dissected a squid in Biology last week? Is that something worth noting?

-I can't really think of anything else cool that has happened. Billy has done a lot of cool stuff this week too. Like going to work everyday and working on lots of homework. Its so fun......but really he is actually really enjoying his classes.

Anyways, I think thats it. Sorry this is so long! Hope you enjoy the pics. Bye.

2 Months

We've now been married for 2 whole months. I am so lucky to have Billy.

haha such a cutie.

One reason just today why I am so lucky: I accidentally dried his bowling team t-shirt in the dryer when it was already small to begin with, so when he put it on this morning it was very short. I noticed and said "oh no! Did I dry that shirt? I'm so sorry! It's not supposed to be dried!" And he, who had probably noticed long ago but didn't say anything about it, said "it's okay, now i'll just match with the rest of my team!" (their shirts are pretty short as well...) Such a good attitude. And he wasn't even mad. At all. Well, maybe he was but he didn't make me feel stupid for drying it. Such a good guy. Love him.

Angry Birds

We got a new game on my i-pod touch. It's called angry birds. This was a bad choice because Billy does nothing besides play it for hours.

and here is a picture of some real angry birds that came up on google images...

Also, we have had some exciting stuff happen lately! I didn't take very many pictures at all :( so this might have to be a mostly words post. I'm very sorry.

First, General Conference was awesome last weekend! We got to go out to dinner with Uncle Kenny and Aunt Diane and their whole family on Friday night because they were in town for conference. Here is what they look like since I didn't take a picture at dinner:

We love them!

On Sunday we went over to John and Barbara's for the afternoon session and for dinner with all the cousins. It was a great time, as usual. Here is a picture of Aunt Barbara pinning on Derek's boutonniere at the wedding...

Then on Sunday night we got a suprise call from an unknown number. It was DALLIN! He said he was in SLC that night and was going to head down to provo on Monday. It was kind of bad timing because me and Billy both had big tests, but it all ended up being fine. He hitchhiked down and we picked him up on Center Street on Monday night. When we picked him up he looked something like this:
Then we brought him back to our place but unfortunately couldn't offer him a shower due to the fact that our water was turned off because of the HUGE construction project going on in our backyard! They said the water would be off from 8 AM for 6 hours...but it didn't get turned back on until around 2 AM. It made for an interesting time brushing our teeth.

tractors right outside our window. Grr. As one guy said in his testimony today at church "God is really teaching us patience with this construction right behind us." So true!

but here is what Dallin kind of looked like after he showered and shaved his huge beard...such a good lookin brother!

Wednesday night all the Sutherland cousins went out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory thanks to Greg and his gift card! It was so fun and we had a lot of really good laughs. After dinner, all the Barrow cousins came over to see Dallin before he left the next day. I love my cousins. It was a great day.

We had a really good time having Dallin stay with us, even though he is a bit smelly. It was fun to see the looks he was getting as he ran across campus in his homeless attire and boots to meet me one day :)
Anyways, I think that pretty much covers the big stuff thats been happening lately. Sorry I didn't take any real pictures of actual stuff (besides the tractor pictures...those are real), but hopefully these pictures gave you a good idea of what they looked like in real life :) I'm bad at taking pictures and also the battery is dead in my camera and I don't have any new batteries. I will do better in the future!

Well now it's back to the books for the rest of the day. I have my last mid-term tomorrow and Billy has his last on Tuesday. We are excited to be done with tests, at least for a week! :) Hope everyone is having a good Sunday! Bye.
