Mom's MSW Graduation and San Diego time June 2018

After Brea we headed down to my parent's house.  The next day I had a fun day with my mom getting pedicures and Golden Spoon, then Billy left to go back to AZ in the afternoon :(  We had a fun few days at home before everyone got into town for the graduation.  I got to see Jen, I got my hair colored at a beauty school, we had a shopping and lunch day.  It was so fun!

Getting my hair done was a very traumatic experience!  I got it done at a beauty school by a girl in my parent's ward.  She did a good job but it took literally 8 HOURS and it wasn't what I wanted.  Sooo it was rough.  Hardest part was being away from Colby for so long!  My mom did a great job with her though.

 It turned out SO blonde!

Mariah curled it for me once she got into town.  Wish I knew how to curl my own hair!

On Sunday June 10 Billy got back into town after being in AZ for a few days, Mariah got into town as well.  Monday my Barrow grandparents got into town, I got my hair redone, and we had a BBQ at Mission Bay!

Cousins in the car!

Billy is so good with kiddos!

Mission Bay beachin!  BBQ, swimming, and park time.  So fun!

All my peoples at the bay!

Cutest pic ever!

My hair!  I liked it a lot better after getting it redone but it still wasn't what I wanted.  Oh well, it was cheap and a fun change :)

Tuesday was the big graduation day!  My mom worked so hard over the past few years to get her Masters and it was a great day celebrating her accomplishments!  We went to the opening thing where everyone presents their work, then dinner, then back for the actual announcing of the graduates.  Such a great day!

About to get in line to be hooded!  If that's what it's called?

The crew!

Great job Mom!  You inspire me!

Billy and I hung out the rest of the week and drove home on Saturday night.  We hit up Jayce's batting practice, the beach, the park, and Jayce's game.  Fun times!

Colby left her mark on all of my mom's apples, little bites out of each and a necklace in the bowl :)

Colby seriously LOVED the beach!  She could have stayed there all day every day.  It was the cutest thing and made my heart burst!  She was such a good girl while I got out and did some boogie boarding too!  I love a good beach day, good for the soul!

I got out there and taught Mariah how to boogie board!

Colby was loving just walking around carrying rocks to and fro.  Cutest thing I've ever seen.

Snoozin as we drove home to AZ.  She's always been a good night drive traveler!

I'll finish up the rest of June in my next post.  Thanks for the fun few weeks Mom!
