Moving into our new house!

We bought a house!  We had been looking for awhile and every time one came up that we were interested in, we just couldn't pull the trigger.  Our realtor was Billy's cousin Letta and she kept saying "homes in this price range go fast!  You need to decide quick." and I would get super stressed.  We looked at one that we LOVED, like it was perfect in almost every way.  It was a little out of our price range we were hoping for, and not in the best area.  So we let it pass and I'm still pretty sad about it.  A couple more weeks went by and Letta sent me all the listings that fit our criteria.  I was SO ready to move out and get going on life so I buckled down and went through HUNDREDS of homes and picked my top 4 or 5.  We went to look at them all the next day and narrowed it down to 2 that I really really liked.  We picked the home we did because the schools are all rated a 9 or 10, there is a park literally down the street, and the whole neighborhood is lined with trees and grass.  Once we saw both homes, we made an offer that same day.  There was another offer on the house but they decided to go with ours, and this house has been perfect.  Not going to lie, I have a little bit of buyer's remorse because the other house had 4 bedrooms and a bigger and nicer backyard, but what can ya do.  We have loved this house so far though.

We bought the house in October, the previous owners moved out at the end of November and we slowly started moving our stuff in after that.  We didn't officially move in like sleeping here until December 15th because that's when our new washer and dryer were being delivered!  With a baby that still spit up a ton, I couldn't live without laundry.  Moving is always stressful and we are honestly still figuring out where things go/how I want rooms decorated.  It's tough to get that stuff done with a busy baby around too :)

Just some cute Colby things first...she slept hard on a binky haha and she has always been the cutest eater!  I love the way she puts things to her mouth, with such purpose!

My sis in law Kara's family recently had a moving truck randomly...pretty awesome because they let us borrow it!  We didn't have that much stuff but this way we could take everything from our storage unit to the house in one trip.

Colby's bedroom was painted padres colors haha so we painted over that real quick.  My mom and Jayce came out to help us move/organize/paint so here is Jayce doing the calking on the walls over the holes from that wood board.  I just decided to paint the room white!  Booooring I know.

Getting all moved in officially!  Colby did well transitioning to her big girl crib!  I was nervous but she did fine!  We bought a brand new washer and dryer on Black Friday and I'm so glad we did!  They are awesome and it's nice knowing they weren't used before us.

Officially leaving Bruce and Karen's to go sleep at our new house for the first time!

First nap at the house, we hadn't gotten curtains yet so it was so light in Colby's room that the night vision was off for like the first time
We got a fluffy area rug from Costco!  It's been awesome and we love it!

We love our cute little house!  It's 1200 sqft, 3 bed, 2 bath.  It has updated floors and paint, with painted kitchen cabinets (white).  Yay!
