Disneyland!

Last weekend me and Billy decided to take a spontaneous trip to San Diego! We talked to my mom about it and she said that the boys have been wanting to go to Disneyland...so maybe we could all go on Saturday! And we thought that was the best idea EVER. So we drove down on Friday and spent the night at Billy's sister Jenny's house that night. They just moved into a new house and it was awesome! And we always LOVE seeing Sierra and Whitney, of course.

Whitney is the cutest ever. Jenny said she doesn't like being held by anyone besides her but she laid her head down on my shoulder and was holding my hand! SO sweet! I wish I took more pictures of her...she was seriously being SO CUTE.

Ok so then Saturday we met up with my family in the morning and headed over to Disneyland! It was SUCH a fun day! Minus when it started to pour rain. But we made the best of it :)

Heading over to the park on the bus...

Jungle cruise...
Big Thunder!
The ferris wheel...we rode the swinging ones. It was so scary.
Parents in front the the castle :)
And us!
California Screamin! Here are all our pictures taken on rides. They are HILARIOUS.
Ok so this one is when we decided to ride California Screamin for the 3rd time and right when we got on it started POURING rain! So the whole time we had our hoods up and our heads down because the water droplets felt like bullets! But Billy was strong enough to lift his head up for the pic! What a champ! It may look like he's riding this alone...but nope i'm next to him and Jayce and Cody are in the front. Haha!
So after that ride...we were all pretty soaked. It was kind of miserable after that, but not miserable enough to leave! NO WAY. So we pulled on the ponchos and had some more fun. It was great, but all of our socks and shoes were drenched and therefore we were very cold. But it was worth it. We got some delish hot chocolate which made it better.
Haha at this point Jayce was over it. He had to leave early because he was so cold.It was such a fun day and fortunately we got 2-day passes so we get to go back sometime before May 14th! YAY! Let me just say that my parents are the BEST for everything they do. I'm so grateful they love us so much and wanted to have a family-fun weekend!

So on Sunday we went out to Lancaster for Kellie's missionary farewell. She did awesome, I'm so excited for her. Then we went back to SD and just hung out for the rest of the day. On Monday we had a slow morning and got started kind of late on our drive back, and got stuck in horrible traffic! We didn't get back until like 1 am. Pretty miserable but that's ok! It was all worth it! I love my family! (And Billy's family too :) )

Valentine's Day

I just decided to knock out both these posts in one day, so they don't get too outdated :)

Valentine's Day was great. It was just a normal Monday, with the super busy and stressful Monday routine. However, amidst all the commotion, I found some time to decorate the house with paper hearts. I seriously put them EVERYWHERE and it was so fun. And it still is fun because Billy keeps finding hearts in his shoes, pants pockets, deoderant, etc.

Please disregard the messiness of our house. Also, don't you love that picture arrangement above the TV?? I LOVE it! We just put up that middle one to replace an engagement pic. I love it.

I also got Billy a bunch of candy and treats that he loves, so that was fun too.

I had work that night at 7 until about 9:45. Billy picked me up and asked if I was hungry, because he had ordered pizza. We went to pick it up and when we got home, he made me wait outside. He came out a few minutes later and apparently he had been all dressed up in his Valentine's best and I hadn't noticed (he had his jacket zipped up), and when I walked in the lights were off and there was a candle lit with the bar all set for a nice pizza, candlelit dinner! Billy wrote me the sweetest note I've ever read and I bawled, of course.

He had also written something he loves about me on almost every single heart I had put up around the house. I couldn't believe it, it was so cute. It was the best Valentine's day ever, hands down.

6 Months!

IT'S BEEN 6 WHOLE MONTHS! Can you believe it? I know I can't. It seems like this was just yesterday...

Gotta love that scaffolding. I really love that picture though.

Anyways, it's crazy how different being married is compared to dating. When you're dating, it's kind of always in the back of your mind that there is an end, and that it could end at any time if you do something weird or stupid or mean. But once you're married, that is not the case! You are stuck with this person (in a good way) and so you get to totally let go and be yourself. I'm not saying that we are mean to each other now or anything, I'm just saying that I feel really safe and that I always have my real BFF with me and he will ALWAYS listen and ALWAYS help me and hang out with me no matter what I do or what happens. And he will ALWAYS love me. Which is great.

Ok anyways....for our 6 month anniversary, Billy of course got me roses :) I don't know why but I LOVE getting flowers. Even though they die in like 3 days, they make me so happy, and Billy knows that.

Just as a side note, Billy NEVER got me flowers while we were dating. Maybe like twice the whole year and a half. So now he gets them for me all the time and he says he's making up for all that time of never getting me flowers while dating. It's very fun. Well now it is, while we were dating it was not that fun to not get flowers.

So to celebrate, we went to Rodizio Grill for lunch/dinner. It was supposed to be better than Tucanos, but we were a little disappointed because we both decided we like Tucanos better and Rodizio was way more expensive. Bummer. But it was still so fun to go out!

After eating, we went to some antique shops on Center Street in Provo, which was way fun! I wanted all the cute little antique jars. And I loved all the antique broaches (sp?), but I know I would never wear a broach ever, so I didn't get any. Billy was a good sport because I could have stayed in there probably all day, and he didn't complain once.

It was a very fun day. I had forgotten all my troubles and stresses for the day, and I felt so happy and loved.

Valentine Box

My mom is the best. She sent us the best Valentine package EVER! I'm pretty sure I love Valentines Day, it's probably one of my favorite holidays.

Here's all our cute and delicious stuff...

Look how cute these plates and placemats are!!!!!!! I love the small heart plates. I think I'm going to keep those out all year round. Because I love them.
And look how awesome these heart bowls are! And how cute the candy is! All the candy is gone now...pretty gross. But she did send this like 2 weeks ago. So I guess it's ok.

This is a little mailbox Mom sent with a little note inside. So cute. We decided to put it on our windowsill and continue to put little notes in it and put the flag up when there is a note. It's very fun.I love Valentine's Day!

P.S. Today is our 6 month anniversary! Post to come probably tomorrow about that :)

My current jam

This song is currently my fav. I put it on repeat this morning while getting ready and also on repeat as I was running this afternoon. Its amazing.

The music video is also amazing. Like seriously I wish I could move like this guy. My favorite is the finger wag. I wish I lived during the 80's! Enjoy.

(I don't know why it cuts off the side of the video like that...)
