New Year's 2015

We went to the Sutherland's house for New Year's.  It was a fun time!  Some of the highlights - Caitlin shopping with her mom, me working on the puzzle, lots of good food and treats, Caitlin running in the mornings and me not working out at all, laughing with the family, playing card games, going to Hilary Hall's sealing and reception, wrist-rocket paintball in the hills, opening Christmas presents, out to breakfast with Jen and Brandon, and did I mention the amazing food and treats?  Here are some pictures -
The Sutherland's saved some Christmas to do with us!
Pennie's new hedgehog
Classic Sutherland boys' pose.  Look at how good those cinnamon rolls look!
When Cody and Jayce were Siamese twins.
Playing Skip Bo with the family on New Year's Eve.
The Puzzle!
Jayce shooting a stack of rocks.
New Year's Eve dinner was delicious!  Cody was laughing hysterically at the Flarp I got for Christmas - it makes fart noises.  It was super funny!
More wrist-rocket paintball in the hills behind the house.
We left no survivors.
We started shooting up in the air to see if we could hit each other/ourselves.  We got close a couple times.

Hillary Hall's wedding reception.  We went to the sealing earlier that day.

December happenings

Lots of stuff happened in December!  Of course I can't remember it all now, over 2 months later, but I will try my best using the pictures we have.

One event was our ward Christmas party early in December.  It was fun.  Haha but really it was a good time.  I spent most of the time giggling with my new BFF Allie who is a laurel in the ward and we kept getting shushed by older women.  Good times.

Primary children as the nativity.  Pretty awesome picture, I know.
Another event was the Kleven Family Christmas party.  That one was on December 13th, I think.  Jenny and Jason and kids were in town for a bit, I can't remember why, but they came to the party as well.  Kleven Family gatherings are always large, the entire gym to the church building was full.

We decorated our apartment for Christmas which was a blast.  We always end up getting weird when we start taking pictures together.  We still have the same teeny tree that I had in my BYU dorm room.  I love that little tree.  It has stood loud and proud helping me celebrate Christmas for 7 years now.  WOW!

I love Billy...he makes me laugh
Christmas card worthy fa sho...not ghetto in the least

Me being a Christmas tree

We got to meet our newest niece Piper, too!

Some fun mutual activities happened during December.  I LOVE being in the Young Women!  These girls are seriously a crack up.  Love them.

We took polaroids for the girls to keep in their "do not open for 1 year" goal pouches and I snuck into Meredith's.  I'm so creepy.
It was the Barnes' year for Christmas this year so once Christmas started getting closer we started doing more Christmassy things all together.  We went to see the temple lights, saw the lights around the neighborhood, hung out and played with toys a lot, etc.  Love spending time with family!

Group shot

Donuts and hot cocoa!
One day we went mini golfing and I got more Ceci bonding time.  That girly loved me this Christmas time!  It was so fun having a little buddy.

Being scary zombies

Check out this cutie!
One night we went to check out the neighborhood Christmas lights.

She is just so cute!

Another day we took some family pictures.  Again, Ceci was my little buddy.  Love it!  Not sure how the actual pictures turned out...

Uncle Jason is the hero with McFlurries for everyone!

Obviously I don't remember the timeline of all this stuff so I apologize!  The night before Christmas Eve Billy and I opened our presents we gave to each other.  Christmas Eve I went for a run and ran into a couple fire trucks doing a drill in Papago park which was cool.  Christmas day was pretty dang crazy with all the kids!  It was fun though having the kids all opening presents at once...pretty crazy.  Let's just say Frozen toys were the hit of Christmas this year!

I got a new pocket knife!  Mine got taken at the airport (for the 2nd time...)
Amazingly scary pic of Billy with his new shirt

Christmas morning craziness!

This was the big hit toy of the day

And that was our Christmas season!  Sorry it wasn't as complete as I wanted, I can't remember all the details anymore!  A couple days after Christmas we headed down to San Diego for New Years which will be the next post!  Hooray!
