Biloxi to Queen Creek

Hey, this is Billy again.  On Wednesday, August 7th, I went to help my brother pack up and move from Biloxi, Mississippi to Clovis, New Mexico. It was a good trip!  I flew into New Orleans and we went to the French Quarter.  It was pretty cool.  We saw St. Louis Cathedral and ate Beignets, which were delicious, then walked around the area and saw the Mississippi River.

Me outside of Cafe Du Monde where we ate Beignets
Statue of Andrew Jackson outside the Cathedral
The Mississippi River
This is a fun video because you can hear the band playing out there and you a great tour from me and my brother who know the place so well...

We also ate some good Southern food.  I don't remember what this first dish was called, but it had shrimp in it.  And there are a bunch of Waffle House places there so we ate there too.  Everyone was really nice and it was really fun to be there around so many friendly people.
After touring for a bit and eating some southern food, we got to work loading the moving truck.  It was a big truck!
It took a couple days, but we got everything packed and the truck was completely full.
We started the drive to Clovis.  Jon drove the moving truck and I drove his Honda Pilot.  We stopped in Louisiana at Barksdale Air Force Base to sleep, and then drove all the way to Clovis the next day.  Here's a picture of Jon's living room before we unloaded everything and the truck outside his new house.
We unloaded enough stuff from the truck the night we got there to get to the mattresses so we didn't have to sleep on the floor, then we unloaded the rest of the truck the next day.  The day after that we drove the Honda to my parent's house in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Jon snapped a picture of me sleeping with my neck pillow I used on the flight to Mississippi.
It was fun with Jon's family in Arizona!  Grayson really loves Caitlin and it's so funny!  When Caitlin came home from teaching school, Grayson saw her and got so excited and was kicking his legs while someone else was holding him.  Then Caitlin held him and he just rested his head on her and snuggled up.  It was pretty nice, especially since Caitlin had a tough day at school that day.
It was a lot of driving, but it was fun and I'm glad I got to help out.
