California--> Phoenix--> Provo--> Canada!

After the Sutherland reunion, we were in San Diego for Sunday and then we drove back to Phoenix on Monday.  Monday night we made it to FHE and saw all our friends!  Yay!  Then Tuesday morning I had a meeting at work at 10 and then we were rushing around to get ready to drive to Provo as soon as possible.  We left around noon on our longest road trip ever!  Phoenix to Medicine Hat, Alberta over 2 days!  We had a pretty fun drive listening to a book on CD and enjoying the scenery.  We made it to John and Barbara's house at like 11:45 and Barbara was so sweet to accommodate us for such a short amount of time!  We zonked out and then left in the morning at 6.  We wanted to make it to Canada by 7 PM ish, so we had to leave early.  We took a little tour around Provo first before we drove off.  We went by our first apartment...such sweet memories!  We miss it!

Road trippin!
Provo sunrise behind the mountains.  Beautiful!
Parkside Condos!
Apartment 7, we love you!! <3
That drive was SO long!  It was a 14 hour day at least...so long.  We stopped in Idaho Falls for french fries and frosties for breakfast and it was all downhill after that ;) Jk it was a really fun day.  We were going crazy a few times and we got really snippy at each other a few times, but overall a fun day!  We stopped in Helena, Montana for gas, dinner and we drove by the Capitol building to take a few pictures!

Oh man I forgot about this!  When we left Provo and were driving through Salt Lake, I fell asleep and Billy was on his own for a while.  Apparently a baseball sized rock flew up and smacked the windshield, causing this awesome looking crack!  Billy even yelled "OH MY GOSH!" and I didn't hear any of it haha.  I was zonked.

Gorgeous views from the road.  Of course pictures don't do it justice.  Especially through the car windshield.

Crossing the border!

This sign is in their house which is super funny because apparently Bruce is a big believer in "too much of a good thing isn't good", so we had a good laugh about that.
We made it to Medicine Hat at like 8 PM that night.  We drove strait to Lyndon's house (the guy who is the manager of Canadian Humanitarian, the company Billy is interning for) and he drove us over to where we were going to be staying, at Deb and Dick Northcott's house (Dick Northcott is Billy's uncle's brother).

Driving into Medicine Hat we got to see the world's largest Teepee!  Hooray!

Medicine Hat is a very dinky little Canadian town.  Driving in I was pretty surprised how small it was.  I got to spend Thursday, Friday, Sat, Sun, and Monday there before we headed off to the Montana lake house on Tuesday.  The thing that was weirdest about Canada was how light it stayed so late!  It stayed light until like 10:30 PM!  It was trippy.
