Moving from DC to AZ

So Billy got permission to leave his internship on April 26th so that we could get to Arizona faster to be able to spend time with Jody before she and her kids moved to Dubai!  So we got a flight out on April 27th super early in the morning.  We flew to Salt Lake because that's where all our stuff was!  Good thing we did too because we were able to make it in time to go to Hayley and Dan's sealing to Johnny!!  It was so great.  I was so glad we were able to be there for that.  It was perfect.

Playing tag with Johnny outside right after the sealing hehe.  Johnny LOVES Billy.  It's so cute.

After the sealing, Uncle John and Aunt Barbara made a delicious dinner for everyone.  It was awesome!  Billy actually went to go load up the moving truck with all our stuff but he was really nice and let me stay and hang with the fam.  He's awesome because he got it all loaded really quickly!  It was a very fun day hanging out with family and being back in good old Provo.

The next morning, we got on the road early so we could get to Arizona early ish.  Poor Billy had to drive that big truck the whole way!  But we made it...and he said it actually wasn't too bad driving the truck (I offered to drive, I promise!)

Stopped in St. George for gas

On the road...

Apparently I took lots of naps on the drive.  We didn't have any CDs to listen to...so I kept falling asleep.  Here is me taking maybe my 5th nap?  Probably.

We got to Arizona that night.  So it was a crazy few days.  DC to Provo, load the moving truck, off to AZ.  But then we made it!  And then we prepped to go to California!  Holy cow!

Here are our last pictures of the Capitol building we took on one of our very last days in DC.  We'll miss you DC, thanks for the fun times.

Aaaaand one final picture of Billy playing with one of those cats in a box.  Oh cats...you kill me.
