Very exciting news! I'm pregnant!! Yippee!! We announced it to our families over Labor Day weekend. Super fun. We announced to our extended families in mid-October, and then announced to everyone else via social media on October 30th with this picture:

This photo shoot took a bit of work to get to come together, but we got it! I love how the pictures turned out! So fun! The caption read "This is no TRICK, our little TREAT arrives in April!" |

We had our 20 week ultrasound to try and see the gender the day after I made it to 20 weeks. We posted this picture asking if people thought it was going to have nuts or no nuts? Hehehe |
|
We didn't find out until our in-depth ultrasound at 22 weeks (on Dec 19th) that baby has no nuts! It's a girl!! She had her legs crossed at the 20 week appointment, but fortunately she opened up a bit a couple weeks later and revealed her gender! We had been thinking it was a girl since our 16 week appointment when our doctor said he thought it was a girl, so it wasn't much of a surprise but still fun to officially be able to buy baby girl things :) |

Here's a super embarrassing crotch shot of baby girl complete with girl parts! |

Look at this cutie!!! What an adorable little face. |

I had to work really hard to get this profile shot. Coughing, laughing, bumping my stomach, so she would turn and give a side view rather than looking at the camera strait on. |

22 weeks, looking oh so excited |

23 weeks, almost 24. Old Navy dressing room, finally buying some maternity jeans which are great! Only thing that sucks is that they keep falling down. |

This was on Wednesday this week, at 27 weeks. Getting big! |
So yep that's where I'm at now. I'm still working at the physical therapy clinic and patients have stopped wondering if I'm pregnant and have just started asking about it. It's fun but it's also weird because it's like my personal life is just out there for everyone to see and ask about, you know? I also feel like I answer the same questions a million times a day "You're expecting?! Congratulations! Your first? When are you due? Boy or girl? Are you excited? You are about to be tired for the next 20 years!" Yeah...I get it. Ha! Those are all great questions to ask but I just get to answer them at least 10 times a day ;)
I have been super lucky and not had many symptoms at all. I was a little morning sick in the beginning but nothing bad. I didn't have any real crazy cravings, just aversions to like all food. I hated eating for a while. I did crave things like lemonade and oranges and apples, citrus-y things. But another symptom that has been consistent since the beginning and still now is that my tongue is constantly raw and destroyed! So if I want to eat anything citrus I just can't eat very much or my tongue will burn for days. So weird. I've also been really itchy, I think that's pretty normal for pregnant women though since the skin is stretching so much.
Well, that's it for now! I have a goal to document the rest of my pregnancy better, but does the pregnancy really matter? I should probably just focus on documenting the baby much better than I've done with the pregnancy haha!
