We had a fun month at home just doing day to day things, filling time.  Colby and I flew to San Diego at the end of the month for a little visit and break from the heat.

Out to dinner and Riparian Preserve one evening.  It was super hot but Colby loves the rocks, woodchips and ducks there.

Colby and I flew to San Diego July 28 and came back August 4th.  It was a good getaway!  Billy drove down during the weekend to hit up the beach as well.  We beached, shopped, ate and hung out at home a lot.  Mariah flew out with Jamin on August 1st and stayed for a week so we overlapped a bit.  Colby LOVES the beach!

Monday we headed to La Jolla in the afternoon for a BBQ and more beachin before Billy drove home (that night!) but none of us got in the water.

So yeah I flew in on Friday, Billy drove out Saturday and we headed to the beach after nap.  Sunday was church where Colby was being very goofy and hanging out at the house.  Monday Billy and I ran together, went swimming at Sandi's, then in the afternoon we did the BBQ at La Jolla.  Billy left that night.  Tuesday was shopping and Chick-fil-A.  Wednesday Mariah got to town and we went to the park.  Thursday we went to the zoo!

Friday we went to the beach in the morning, Colby loved it as usual! Another solid beach day!

 Saturday I did a big run, 6 miles up Black Mountain, yay!  In the afternoon we went to Blue Water Grill for dinner before we had to go to the airport and fly home :(  It was an awesome week visit, thanks Mom for everything!

 These are all so cute so I included them all :)

 We love San Diego time!
