Crazy Dayz

Let me just tell you a few of the crazy things that have been going on lately:

1. I was in San Diego for almost 3 weeks (I will blog about this super fun trip a little later)

2. We found out that our stupid car still sucks.  We had to get a whole new rebuilt transmission in the Mazda.  It was making a rattling noise, and we thought it was just like a bad part or something, but the car place said we needed to basically replace the whole thing.  But thanks to my Dad and his car-knowing skillz, we were able to get the car place to price match a used transmission we found, so it ended up being a little cheaper

3. We went camping last weekend!  Our ward had a camping trip and we decided we should go.  It was way fun.  Camping makes me kind of anxious though haha.

4. Dallin rolled into town on Saturday.  With his girlfriend.  And his dog.  And her 2 cats.  And we are so nice that we let them stay here (never again).  They are very dirty and gross.  So now we have to get our carpet and couch cleaned which is a bummer.  We're tempted to just sell our couch and get a new one haha.  But not really.  Here's a picture of Jose sleeping upside down with his leg in the air and you can see one of the cats in the background (yes, they have leashes):
We fed them pizza that night, then drove them to salt lake city the next morning so they could see the sights.  We had to spend a lot of Sunday disinfecting.  It was good to see them though, and good to meet Erin.

5. We've been watching lots and lots of Olympics!!  It's so fun!  Women's gymnastics was so awesome.  So was all the swimming.  We are loving watching track now!  Billy figured out how to get our cable working before I got home from San Diego so we could watch :)

6.We went to the Parade of Homes in Salt Lake yesterday with Garrett!  It was so fun!  We love hanging out with Garrett.  We wish he would move in with us and sleep under our bed.  Here's a super cute bathroom in one of the houses:
After looking at a few houses, we went to eat at a delicious Italian place called Trio.  It was so good!  Thanks for coming with us Gary!

And I guess that's all we've been up to lately.  We love summer!  I'll blog about my trip to San Diego hopefully later today.  Fun times!
