so cute and cozy. They drove me back to Provo that night to be with Billy.
I love this one...hugging his mom :)Magleby's cake for their wedding cake! What a brilliant idea!
On Friday Billy had to work :( so he drove back to Provo to go to work and I stayed up in Park City. We decided to have Thanksgiving dinner again that night with all the leftovers, so I helped mom get that all ready again :) Then Billy got there! and after our feast we all went to Salt Lake to see the play "Savior of the World" in the Conference Center. It was a great play and really helped bring in the Christmas season.
On Saturday my family had to leave :( I was very sad and still miss them a ton! I can't wait to see them in like 3 weeks! They didn't have to check out of the hotel until Sunday, so me and Bill just stayed and played around Park City for the day! Well, we mostly just watched movies and ate brownies :) But we did go walk up and down main street and we went out to dinner at the Blue Iguana.
Billy mixing up some brownies...My taco saladBilly's enchiladasOh and we also found out that Jon and Kara had their baby!!!! So exciting! They are naming her Scarlett Renee Barnes. SO CUTE! We heard both mom and baby are healthy and happy. Such a great day! :)
We woke up today to a fresh blanket of snow which was so fun. We headed back very slowly so that we wouldn't crash the little mazda :) It was such a great week. Sorry I went into so much detail. But if you want to see even more detail, you can look at my mom's blog because shes really good at blogging! :) sutherlandfamilynews.blogspot.com.

ReplyDeleteIt's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.... Looking at your house makes me excited to start decorating here at home! I loved seeing pictures of what you guys did after we left. I miss you so much!! But you'll be here soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being part of a super great week. I love Billy more the more we get to know him :). He is such a good brother to the boys, and a loving husband to you. Thanks, Billy!
On my run this morning it was 38 degrees and there was frost on the ground. After running in 7 degree weather, it felt like nothin! And it was way better than running on those treadmills :)!
Thanks so much for blogging...it makes me feel like I was there...oh wait, I was! But I'm not anymore, so please keep blogging!!
love you guys!
It was fun to see you through the holidays. Please share photos with others when you become a fan of Park City on Facebook, www.facebook.com/parkcityUT.
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping us updated Caitlin. Sounds like you guys are making the most of a chilly situation. We'll order up some warm weather when we see you over the holidays. Bring your bathing suit. The water's too cold for swimming, but you can lay out and work on your winter tan.
