Some monuments...at night

I met up with Billy one night last week so we could check out the Vietnam War memorial and the Lincoln memorial at night.  It was great!  We are glad we are getting to see everything we wanted to!

The Vietnam War memorial was way cool.  And way sad.  Lots of people died.

 

Reflecting...(both meanings intended hehe)

Walter Barnes...a combination of Billy's Mom's maiden name and Barnes.  

Then the Lincoln memorial and Washington monument/reflecting pool.  We took lots of pictures.......yikes.  We struggled taking pictures at night though...so lots of them are blurry sorry!

These kids asked if this boy could take a picture with Billy because they said Billy looks like the older version of that boy.  Super funny.  I took a picture but its blurry!  Agh!

We asked a guy to take a picture for us.  We told him he had to keep the camera very still or the picture would be ruined but he was obviously incompetent at holding still...

Now starts the jumping pictures....get ready for lots of funny ones

It was so fun and so beautiful down there!  I wish we were better at using our camera.  We probably could have gotten some really awesome shots if we knew how to take pictures at night better!  But they are still way cool!
